Levelling paste for floors

What is this product?

 

It's a grey self-levelling mortar for cement and concrete floors or similars.

It's used before the realization of works that require a totally plane surface.

Moquettes, cork floors, plastic tiles, floating parquet, sintetic coverers...

Characteristics

 

Monocomponent mortar-glue.

Self levelling.

Thin coat application for interiors.

Easy application on cement or concrete.

Excelent adherent power.

How to prepare?

 

1- Pour the water first and then, the levelling paste.

2- Mix in bowls adding water until saturation.

3- Hand mix or with mixer machine (better slow, 500 rpm) until getting a creamy paste.

4- Let it settle during 5 minutes before application in order to additives act correctly.

5- Never add more water after the paste settles.

How to use?

 

The floor must be clean of grase and dust and slightly wet.

Prepare a fluent paste for pouring it well over the floor and that the levelling additives act correctly.

The paste to be extended always must be inferior to 4 mm (thin coat).

It's not a refilling paste, it es designed to cover little irregularities.

Respect the expansion joints. It is advisable to use a ruler and a level to establish refilling levels.

Once extended the product, use a trowel to help levelling.

After application, Iet it harden during 24 hours and sand slightly the little marks the trowel might have left.

Where to use?

Precautions

 

Product components are not toxic.

It must be worked with gloves, avoid powder inhalation and contact with eyes and skin.

Keep away from children or animals.

First Aid

 

Skin: Wash with plenty of water.

Eyes: Wash with plenty of water.

Ingestion: Rinse with water and drink plenty of water.
